I've been tagged!

I've been tagged by my friend Yvonne. My instructions were to select the 4th picture from the 4th folder of my pictures, then post it and explain it. So, here is my picture:

Okay, so how cute is this? This is Jessica at 9 months old, almost brings tears to my eyes to see how much she has grown up and is now a big old kindergartener. Hard to beleive that my baby is going to be 6 years old in just a matter of weeks.....WOW!
I now tag my friend Michelle Lopresti!
Michelle and I have been friends since we were both pregnant, me with Jessica, and Michelle with her son, Dylan. Jessica and Dylan are 12 days apart in age. We met as part of a Mommie's group on the internet and it has been a blast shareing our familes over the computer all these years. Although at this point we have never met in person, I do believe that we will some day!

Holiday Parade of Lights

As the official kick-off to the holiday season, we have enjoyed attending the annual Holiday Parade of Lights for the past few years. This year Allison's gymnastics team walked in the parade.

Our Cute Little Elf Gymnast!

Jessica and her friend, Riley enjoying watching the parade

Here comes Salinas Valley Gymnastics!

I guess one more noteworthing mention to this Parade is that I have been the Treasurer of this event for the past 4 years....gets me some good perks, like up front sponsor seating next to the announcing booth! It's all about the perks, right?

Oh Christmas Tree!

Tree decorating 2008! It was alot of fun watching Jessica grab each and every ornament just as fast as I could unbox them and put them ALL on the same 3 branches of the Christmas tree. Luckily Allison is getting taller now and can help decorate the other 100 branches.

The Cover Model

Jessica was chosen to be one of the cover model's for Scoop Magazine's November 2008 issued. Scoop Magazine is a local Monterey publication that details the local "happenings" for kids activities. My nephew, Jacob, is the other model, and to say they had a blast spraying whipped cream on apples pies, would be an understatement.

Catching Up My Blog!

Since my best friend Yvonne (or should I say former-best friend Yvonne) has been harassing me about my Blog (yes, I know my last post was in November of 2008)....she has been seriously harassing me to the point that I almost had to file a restraining order against her this past weekend!

Just Kidding.....but I am determined to catch this thing up over the next few days.

I still love you Yvonne (mother of my Godchildren)!

Thanksgiving 2008

Jessica had a Thanksgiving Feast at school on Tuesday and had spent the few days at school leading up to the feast learning about why we have Thanksgiving. She was a pilgrim at the feast and all the boys were "Native American's"! Don't try to call them Indians, because she will correct you and tell you they are "Native American's". It's amazing how early being politicially correct starts these days!

She decided to wear her pilgrim costume to Thanksgiving Dinner.....here are a few pictures of our little pilgrim.

Halloween 2008

Since I haven't had a chance to send out a link to show the girls Halloween pictures, I am posting a few here now. We had a great time trick-or-treating with my sister and brother-in-law (and their dogs) on Halloween night.

Little Red & Minnie

Gotta love the Ugg Boots!

Both the girls also had a Halloween party at school that day and the entire 6th grade class performed the dance to Thriller. Allison had been practicing the dance for weeks and ended up being one of the "leaders" in the performance. It was really cool, and of course brought back lots of memories from the 80's whcn that song first came out.
